Solar batteries are cheaper than ever before thanks to the cheaper homes battery program
The Labor Government has marked a significant milestone for renewable energy in Australia with the launch of the Cheaper Home Battery Rebate program from July 1 st , 2025.
The subsidy is a maximum of $372 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of usable battery capacity. Meaning on a 15kwh battery system, the discounted subsidy is $5,580!!
And Homeowners don’t actually need to do anything to claim the rebate our team/ installers will apply for it and deduct the value from the total system price.
